World without Dignity

Interesting, Germany isn't listed under Europe. My husband suggested that since Germany kicked out/respectively refused entry for folks who critize Israelian brutal occupation of Gaza this is "the revenge", they no longer belong to Europe. Later on I discovered Germany under the heading: Mexico, Central Mediterranean America, Antilles. In view of Trump's "war on drugs" in the Mediterranean, destroying ships, killing those on board and survivors in the sea, I fear for German commercial ships. - Yesterday, in the neighborhood, I saw a cat walking backwards. Getting closer I discovered a bloody plastic bag over the poor little darling's head. It turned out to be fish blood. I 'd wish ignorant folks would stop throwing platic bags as well as other items on the roads and teach their kids to act likewise. Sometimes people complain the government should make sure that streets are clean, I say it is not the government who drops papers, wrappings of fast food, paper coffee cups, etc. where it doesn't belong, individuals do. Protection of the environment protects also human and animal health. - Lately I've spent a lot of time at our excellent veterinarian's, several of my little treasures suddenly had severe health problems, luckily he managed to save most of them. Great to see their recovery. Wish the same could be said about the Palestinians, cold winter, weather with storms and floodings, unsuitable tents, lacking absolutely everything, infrastructure, even hospitals, Mosques and ancient churches willfully destroyed by the occupation force, with other words: Hell on earth. More than 1000 patients died while waiting for urgently required evacuation for medical treatments that are no longer possible in Gaza. Is there really so little the so - called civilized, modern, world can do? We experience sickening double standards, just compare Putin, the Ukraine war, imposed sanctions, and Netanyahu, the war on Palestine, blackmail and threats. For the EU the Ukraine is nearer home and perhaps in addition the feeling the people there are "more like them". If Jesus and the Holy Family would arrive today, would Europe or US welcome or deport them? After all they wouldn't look very European and  wouldn't  be rich........EU countries try to prevent immigrants to even reach Europe, in spite of various sectors of their industrie relying on immigrant workers. Francesca Albanese, UN special rapporteur on Palestine, in her new report to the UN Assembly called the Gaza Genocide a "collective crime" and that is precisely what it is. Following the Nuernberg Trail on Nazis there was hope that the call "Never Again" would lead to a better world, surely it didn't mean revenge on innocent people, "self-defence" against babies, children, women, youngsters, innocent adults, senseless destructions, land grap etc., borderless hate. The East Timorese president, Ramos-Horta (Nobel Peace Price 1996) in an interview with Aljazeera stated: "When you survive a Holocaust experience , like the Jews, I would think that you are a person that is the most sympathetic to anyone yearning for freedom, for peace, for dignity. Because you understand. They (Israelis) are doing the opposite. I am totally disallusioned with the so-called international society, in particular in the West, that enjoy entertaining themselves lecturing 3. World counties on democracy, human rights, transparency, human rights, anti-corruption, etc., etc. "  By the way, East Timo is one of the poorest countries in the world but it has one of the freest media and democracy in the world! And Europe? On 26th of Nov. 2025 a Berlin court ruled that authorities in Berlin acted unlawful when they shut down a pro-Palestine conference on 12th of April 2024 as they did not want persons like Ghassan Abu Sitta, British-Palestinian surgeon and Dean of a Scottish university, to give witness from what he saw while working in Gaza hospitals, and speake to an audience subjected to often one-sided pro-Israel ("self-defence") informations and very little about e. g. crimes committed by lawless settlers or Israelian Forces. At the time the decision was made under the "German Administration Act", thus no reason behind it was necessary (common practice in Israel, concerning Palestians), but it entailed that the concerned person was barred to Scheningen counties for 1 year (false information provided to Ghassam Abu Sitta: for 1 month only) and successfully preventing his further attendance of simular conferences, e. g. in France. German chancellor Merz (Christian demoratic party - the Christian idea, where is it?) lately advised his audience that without financial support and weapons supply from Germany, Israel would have stopped existing 10 years ago. Really? What about the unlimited aid, weapon supply from the Big Brother, US, what about UK? The Israelian lobby worked very successfully in these and other EU states. Besides, hasn't Israel got the atomic bomb, their own weapon production, don't they even sell on a big scale such weapons, "already tested"? Where the Israelian lobby failed, though, is improving their country's image, many meanwhile call Israel a Rogue state. Heads of state, madly in love with themselves (like Netanyahu and Trump) can do a lot of damage to their country which they don't really love. Nowadays US citizens say that their president has neither control over their economy nor over his character. Lately he started to build momuments for himself, at least he's an orginal and never runs out of new surprising ideas. The Israelian opposition leader (former chief of military) Yair Golan called on Netanyahu to resign. While Trump demanded pardon for Netanyahu, Golan says: "Only the guilty seek pardon." Spain, Netherlands, Ireland and Slovenia will boycott the Eurovision contest because Israel is still invited, though Russia isn't any longer, why this double standard, besides, since when does Israel belong to Europe? The Swiss winner last year,  Nemo, returns his trophy in protest over Israeli inclusion. Attempts of various countries to prevent the Israeli football team from participating in the European Leagues and World Cup also failed. In Germany supporters of the Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Avic soluted German police Nazi style (forbidden solute), during the Europe League match they repeatedly set off fireworks. In addition they demonstrated their lack of education (putting it mildly) by shouting shamelessly their racist slogan: "There are no schools in Gaza because there are no children left."  It is nothing new, they did it before, during football matches, months ago, in France or another EU country. German authorites temporary arrested six of them. Makes a change, arresting Israelis, who after all can't be accused of being " anti-semitic". The UN special rapporteur on Palestine territories, Francesca Albanese, said the costs of rebuilding Gaza should be paid not only by Israel, but also by Israel's main arms suppliers: US, Germany Italy, UK. Further, the support US provides to Israel through their military bases in Cyprus should be investigated, facilitating attacks in Gaza. The European Commission spokesperson, El Anouni, when asked whether the EU is demanding accountability for war on Gaza crimes, simular to its call for accountability for crimes committed in Ukraine, he replied that decisions whether genocide or war crimes are for national and international courts to decide. In the meantime the killing and cruelity continues, there and sadly in other parts of our world. Lord have mercy. What has happened to our civilization, why aren't international laws (once a big achievement) respected any longer? Israelis raided the HQ building of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA) in Jerusalem, seized IT items, furniture and other property, cut all communications, replaced the UN flag against the Israelian. Testing how far they can go? And they leave the world speechless. I wish for Israel a humanitarian society with empathy provailing, worthy of a civilized society. It would better our world..... Pray for Palestinian.
