Our World a Big Basar lacking Empathy and Honesty.

Mohamed Ali.                                                      We have a lot of school holidays in Tunisia, my husband, being 'old school' , asks the kids in front of our house (up to 30 playing with 3 footballs)," Why don't you read a book for a change?" Well, their main toys are footballs or stones, unfortunately. They could do with some folks motivating them to spend their spare time in a better way, that is more rewarding also for them. I feel these kids and teens sadly often don't quite know what to do with themselves and all those holidays. -  Donald Trump wanted to show to the world big, beautiful pictures of himself and his wife and asked members of the White House to upgrade them. All would have been well, but by mistake they took photos of Ex-president Obama and his good lady, thus it wasn't even an upgrading any longer with the suggested changes made with an internet tool. Of course Mr. Trump did not understand why numerous people accused him of  rasism. He was too busy re-designing the world to check the final result. By the way, the craddle of mankind stood in Africa, another one of 'master race' ancestors never existed anywhere. Originally all American citizens were immigrants ( plus by force - abused slaves) with them they brought their special experiences, abilities, ideas, values and sometimes a dark past, good and bad characters, independent of their colour of skin. People tend to trust those most who resemble them. Why should they be actually more trustworthy? Stalin once said, "I don't trust anybody, not even myself." Several US citizens declared that the uniform and also the behaviour of ICE officials remindes them of the Gestapo (Hitler's secret state police) and they call them Trump's private army. Their crash training only takes 48 days, nonetheless, they are highly paid, are granted police- like powers and appear to be trigger happy, with their own flexible truth, strongly supported by Mr. Trump. US Americans are prowd and insist on having the right to carry a gun. Now Donald Trump advised that if ICE members see this, they can shoot in "self-defence". Yet the non-violant demonstrating man and the woman they shoot and killed lately in Minnisota didn't hold any weapons. A very special logic, also Trump's demand that Arabic countries should help Israel with "self-defence". To the best of my knowledge there is presently a genocide taking place, 2,700 Palestinian families have already been erased, 40,000 families have been attacked, 17,000 children have lost both parents, 39,000 lost one parent, numbers rising. How much suffering can children take? The SS Nazi member, Otto Ohlendorf, explained in the Nürnberg Nazi trail "vorausschauende Notwehr" (self-defence in anticipation) : "In view of the knowledge that we killed their parents, they would become our enemies." (The judge asked him why did you kill the children?) By the way, soldiers from Ukraine were the first to free a German extermination camp, the hell called Auschwitz, on  27th of January 1945. Several survivors committed suicide afterwards, too many nightmares, they couldn't live with what they went through and what they witnessed. I wonder how will Palestinian children and adults manage, once the horror ends? Lord have mercy. Why must they pay for the atrocities the Nazis committed? The so-called "self-defence" an argument to kill all other arguments, giving it a new meaning, contrary to internatonal law. Self-defence for the occupier, even against kids and new born babies. Are Palestinian babies born with a hand grenade in their hands? Half of the Palestinian population is under the age of 18. Where are there the sanctions in view of Israel constantly and in a massive way breaking the cease fire agreement? The solidarity with Palestinians seems to grow in the Western world, in particular in those countries that know  what surpression means.  Slovenia banned arms sales to Israel and imports from illegal settlers on occupied Palestian land. They don't want to turn a blind eye to illegal constructions, land confiscation, forced expulsions, atrocities, burning of old, valuable, olive trees, stealing of life stock, destruction of the water supply system and last not least, with impunity murder of Palestian farmers and other persons. Slovenia prohibitated entry to their great country for Netanyahu, Ben Gvir and Smetrich. This gives me hope. Could other countries learn from Slovenia? They should! Meanwhile Belgium, Finnland, Ireland, Luxemburg, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden also don't want to trade with illegal settlements in the Westbank P. Goods traded between EU and Israel in 2023 are estimated at 42,6 Billions. Israel handed over 120 body bags, corpses in pieces. Often the population of a country is more advanced than their leaders, this also applies to Arabic countries. Tunisia, though, never stopped demonstrating his solidarity with Palestinians. Their only hope, strong solidarity, sanctions, ending double standards, war criminals being held accountable, international laws upheld, an end of Apartheid, the ruling of the International Criminal Court, inspite of the threats and  sanctions from the White House/the new Emperor (who several times mixed up Greenland with Island) gainst ICC judges. A slow process, unfortunately, but let us learn from South Africa. They at long last overcame Apartheid in their country. There was a lot of solidarity, it works if we are many. Let us be on the right side of history. Animals know empathy, how can we be indifferent? 

 Dehumanizing ones animies enables acting without empathy, being cruel without nightmares, unspeakable cruelty. Science can be of great benefit to the world, but it can also open the gates of hell. International prohibited thermal and thermosbasic weapons, supplied by the USA to Israel, are repeatedly used in Gaza. Thousands of Palestinian bodies are missing (not just those buried under tons of construction rubble), they disappeared without leaving a trace, burned at 3,500 C, turned to ashes within seconds as if they never existed. I recall Israel demanding that Hamas returns every singe corps of killed Jewish person, however difficult it may be to trace and uncover the body. Don't Palestinians too love their families, friends, countryman? Are they worthless? People often wondered how Nazis who appeared to love their family, children, nonetheless managed to kill Jewish children, their mothers..... The use of thermal and thermosbasic weapons is according to international law a war crime, those who supply such weapons are compliance in such crimes. High time to hold those responsible accountable. No more lipservice solidarity. All this talk of "self-defence" makes me feel sick. 

Trail of Thoughts, Rule of the Jungle.

Edmund Burke.   Winter has arrived, some sunshine during the day, ice-cold wind, cold nights and the necessary rain. I prefer the summer, even when it's pretty hot. Still, the advantage of this season, those extreme loud open - air celebrations (loud speakers suitable for football stadiums) in residential areas have stopped and with heavy rain, etc. less unnecessarily noisy motorbikes with that environnements polluting black clouds, "riding just for fun." A young man smashed in the neighborhood a car's windscreen "because he had stress with his parents." The car just happened to be there and he quickly got arrested. This shows the need for anti-aggression training and noise restrictions as too much noise also reduces the ability to "take it easy". I remember a time when folks were altogether more relaxed and not constantly in a hurry (even the unemployed nowadays). Our amazing, blind, feral boy, Loulou, sadly passed away. Not well lately, poor darling, only approx. 7 years old, considered old here, but not in Europe. He loved his food, but nevertheless kept loosing weight. Strange, banans are very rare in Sousse, in Kairouan they are on sale everywhere. - The new Emperor and Pirate, Donald Trump, said the world is no longer peaceful. Has that perhaps got something to do with his often strange ideas and actions, violations of international laws? Mr. Trump and his mental brothers and sisters appear to regard the world as a kind of supermarket, or should I say Real Estate for sale and exploration ? Lucky the country that doesn't hold precious resources. I think it was Kissinger who once said, "oil is too important to leave it to the Arabs.....". Land grab, the new fashion. If a country wants to protect its environment and decides not to destroy for the sake of exploitation, limited profit for a few, destruction that effects future generations, it hopefully doesn't get invaded by a country that considers environmental laws a luxury, unnecessary burden that stands in the way of making maximum profit. Following the kidnapping of president Madura (no American blood spilled, Trump proudly declared, but 32 Cubans died and approx. 70 others) and Venezuelan high quality oil stollen from the "US backyard", respectively presently seized tank ships, Mr Trump now desires to "buy" (make an offer they can't refuse..... ") Greenland, Cuba, possibly Canada, etc., perhaps invade Mexico, Panama..... The people of Greenland declared they don't want to become Americans, don't want to be part of an imperial colony. They want to continue protecting the environment for future generations, demand respect of international laws. Their country is not for sale. Though fairly independent, it luckily still belongs to Denmark, a Nato member, the Nato is obligated to protect its members, thus must stop the new emperor and pirate, who says he " will take Greenland, one way or the other." 62 % of Germans support the idea to send troops to Greenland to support the country. Pinocchio Trump advised that Greenland is threatened by China and Russia, it is a question of either them or US, as Greenland practically hasn't got any self-defence. By the way, no Russian nor Chinese ships were viewed near the Island. Trump's message, "don't trust your eyes, trust my words". If evil persons are successful with doing evil, they have no reason to stop. Not a lesson we could have learned from Hitler? The Western World choose to trust his promises, more comfortable than to act at an early stage. Oh let him have this and that, perhaps appeasement politics works........, perhaps he will be satisfied..... (make friends with crocodiles and maybe you will be eaten last.....). Mr. Trump appears to think that Nato is a toothless tiger, well, is it? Do we want him to rule the world, to re-write the laws for civilized societies? Instead of using kid gloves for Donald Trump and smearing honey around his mouth, hoping he thus won't get angry and start his usual threatening and blackmailing, look for a different medicine, learn and offer him his own medicine. The world concists of many countries, a population much higher than that of the US (where, by the way, not all love Donald Trump and his followers), several countries have a lot of money, vast amounts spent for weapons, why not get together and donate large sums for a good purpose, why not buy the United Staates, recreate democracy ? That would bring peace to the world and in particular be great for Palestinians (since the cease fire 100 children have been killed in Gaza, all in "self-defence"?) . Mr. Trump, Vance, Rubio (Trump was worried about Obama having the right birth certificate, did he check that of Marco Rubio?) etc. could be flown out to other countries willing to take them. According to US and some other countries' (e. g. Israel) standards these don't have to be connected in any way with the concerned US individuals , who don't even have to be able to speak the language of their new home country. - Good news, London now has a Palestinian Embassy, France will open in Greenland an Embassy in Februar. By the way, Mr. Trump said, "I am good at predicting things...". Hitler said, "I want to be once again a Prophet (predict what is going to happen)".  The EU appears to be sleep-walking just like the US Democrats for quite a while, allow the self-promoted new emperor to destroy seemingly well working institutions, sack dedicated civil servants, make the poor poorer and the rich richer. Is the US society so helpless? There is the "We are America" movement (no kings, no troops on our street), the "Bill of Rights" movement, "Flare" organisation,  "Veterans for Democracy", etc. Hopefully no more bullying into silence. US senators of both big parties are introducing a bill to stop Mr. Trump seizing Greenland. A lot of the president's rhetoric reminds me of what George Orwell warned against, "New speech", manipulation through giving something negative a new, positive meaning, e. g. "Big Beautiful Bill", "Make America great again", etc.  The Nobel Peace Price Committee advised that their price can after donation not be shared with another person, presumably a message for Madam Machado who believes that Mr. Trump brought freedom to Venezuela. "Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are", a German proverb. The situation in Iran is dire, depressing to see how many died and are threatening to be executed. " Help" may come at a very high price, Lord have mercy.  Netanyahu has been dreaming for years of a week Iran. If you want to judge the self - proclaimed savior, Donald Trump, see how he treats his own people. The Western countries expect the US to attack Iran within the next 24 hours. Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, etc. are sending some military to Greenland to demonstrate that Nato is prepared to protect this country.
