Sweet Jane gave birth to four cute babies in the basket attached to the large cats' tree designed for sratching (claw care) . I intended to have her spayed and neutered, but missed the right date. Jane managed to leave the birthplace of her babies spoteless. In one of the three outdoor temporary shelter places for stray cats I discovered blood and a dead cat baby. For all I know the mother may have given birth to additional live babies and transported them to another place. One morning I discovered right in front of my entrance door a large cardboard box placed in another one and 2 pillar covers stretched around the boxes, 4 kittens inside, sealed with scarcely any air for breathing. If we had spent the day away from our house, they wouldn't have survived, shocking action. When you think you have seen it all, there is still somebody who can top the ignorance. Later on the pretty, long haired, kittens disappeared, first 3 and the last one 2 days later. I have no idea what happened to them, hopefully being beautiful helped to save their life. I only know I can't cope with more additions to my feral family. As my little treasures are getting older I have to spend more money and energy on their medication and health, health problems unot unlike humans. Anyhow, for us they are family and depend on us. I feel responsible for my adopted cats and I get a lot of love in return. Every morning I am greeted by my gorgeous darlings with purring, their way of telling me that they are happy to see me. Gorgeous tri-colour Chiquita wakes me up absolutely punctually, incredible without a watch. I also feel attached to my regular visitors to my Cats' Table. Usually they are also punctually, but on some days several are missing, then I worry, knowing their life isn't easy. A few enjoy cuddling with me, I presume there was a time when they lived in a family. Some may even still live in a house and are let outside to visit my Cat's Table for free food. A Caracal, Egyptian Lynx cat, young female, entered a miliary camp in Har Harif and bit Israelian soldiers. This big wild cat is commonly known as non- aggressive and in Egyptian mythology associated with the goddess Mafdet, protector against snakes and Other Dangers! Had this incident happened in Germany, some politicians would presumably have demanded the arrest of this " antisemitic /Hamas operated" animal. Germany recently evacuated 19 German citizens and their relatives from Gaza. At least they are save, approximately 2,3 million Palestians remain in living hell. The outgoing German state secretary of foreign affairs, Annalena Baerbock (from the Green party) declared that it is quite normal for persons quitting a post like hers to apply for the second most important position in UN (after Secretary General) . Interesting thought as that position requires a lot of diplomatic talent. If she had spoken of Joska Fischer, the famous other German secretary of foreign affairs, founder of the green party, many years ago, I would fully agree. Anyhow, internationally many are angry and believe Helga Schmidt, who was expected to be chosen instead, would be more qualified and experienced . Frau Baerbock has often viewed Netanyahu's actions with a blind eye ("right of self-defence" standard comment) and lack of empathy for the sufferings of Palestinians. The atrocities the Nazis commited against Jews cannot be washed away with the blood of Palestinians. If "never again" is our aim, it must include all, war crimes and crimes against humanity remain what they are, independent of who commits them. By the way, Netanyahu is presently visiting Hungary, in spite of the ICC International Arrest warrant, the Hungarian Green Party demands his arrest, but dictator Urban intends to ignore it, though legally he is obligated to act otherwise. If I were traveling on the highway to hell, real friends would stop me! By the way, Hitler killed 27 millions of Russians, Stalin 20 millions. Guess it's not surprising many Germans fear Russians. When Donald Trump said, "Sometimes the friend is worse than the enemy", wonder whom he has in mind. In Gaza over 39,000 children have lost one or both parents, as far as known 17,954 children have been killed, including 274 new born babies and 876 infants below the age of one year, 43 % of the Palestinian population are below the age of 18. International laws, achievements of our civilization, are ignored by Netanyahu and his far-right government and nothing seems to stop them. It is not what the families of the hostages want nor many Israelians. They voiced that Netanyahu only looks after his own interests, a continued war just secures his power. The Red Cross in Gaza reports the killing of 8 Palestinian medics and 6 defence first responders. Five ambulances, one fire truck and one UN vehicle, all clearly marked as such, were struck one by one by the Israelian forces in the al-Hasha shin area on 23. 03. 2025. Fifteen bodies were discovered in a mass grave, a 9th medic is still missing. Vehicles crushed, hidden underneath tons of sand. Mistaken identity??? Really? A video (discovered on the mobile phone of one of the victims) proves that the lights and flush lights were switched on - contrary to the statement of the Israelian spokesperson . Meanwhile at least 50,600 Palestinians are killed. Still not a genocide? For more than one month no aid or commercial trucks reached Gaza. They are running out of crucial medical supplies not only for chronical illnesses, which under those conditions may well end up deadly. So far 232 jornalist have been killed, more than during both world wars, including Vietnam, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan, Gaza and Westbank are the most deadly workplaces for jounalists. 190 UN facilties have been attacked. Various Israelian army reserves stated they are willing to defend their country but not support the continued war against Palestinians. Israel has already taken 17 % of the total area of Gaza, they call it a "Buffer Zone". Gaza is now the most crowded area in the world, lacking food, water, electricity, medical supplies, essential services, shelters and security. Lord have mercy, the situation is too depressing for words, and the future is bleak.
