Great Mary, my sweet, feral companion and for a long time guardian of my house, suddenly disappeared, months ago. I feared her to be no longer in the land of the living. Big surprise and a moment of happiness, there she was, modestly sitting on my pavement, waiting for her breakfast. Jane has been feeding her surviving 3 kittens (1 died suddenly, plus the fostered Siamese) for 11 weeks now with her Mummy milk and even though meanwhile fairly thin herself, seems to be willing to continue to do so on request. Fluer's 5 lovely babies were less lucky. She tried to feed them, but didn't appear to have enough milk. At the time I couldn't afford to buy, as an addition, the substitute powder milk. It turned out that the cow milk was insufficient for nourishment and those cute babies all sadly died. It was very hard to loose them, inspite of all my effords, not what they deserved. -  When you think it can only get better, you can't be more mistaken. Double standards, shameless lies, fake news, political blackmail and threats, the new normal. International standards and human rights laws without meaning. The world's richest (Elon Musk 388 milliards netto, Donald Trump estimated 5 milliards netto) and the presently most powerful man verbally fighting, Mr. Trump threatening Elon Musk not to dare supporting the Democrats, in addition he threatened to withdraw his US citizenship and send Mr. Musk back to South Africa. Interesting thought, all over USA folks are demonstrating against Trump's extensive deportations, often concerning people in employments, low paid jobs in building trade, economy, healthcare, etc. As one demonstrator put it, every American has immigration roots. (Mr. Trump's family orginates from Germany ( of which Germans in general are not proud) , the 1. Lady from Slowenien, at the time arrived with a tourist visa and worked as a model). "No Kings" and "No one above the law", "Corruption has gone too far", slogans of the  demonstrating masses, all over US, fearing destruction of democracy in US and a sellout to the extreme rich. Trump suggests the " arrest of the Californian governor would be a great thing". Well, he belongs to the Democrats, stated that they don't need/want the National Guards and Marines (rubber bullets and tear gas, militarization of civilian protests) ordered to arrest 3, 000 immigrants a day - these folks are often necessary for the economy - and California is the richest US state. On his birthday Trump watched behind bullet proof glass a military parade, officially to celebrate 250 years of US military. The president called Israelian attacks on Iran (nuclear facilities, gas and oil fields, infrastructure, residential areas, rocket installations, military and other high ranking, important persons, like scientists, etc) "excellent and further ones would be even more brutal".  His poor wife, the man considers something brutal as excellent! By the way, Israel has now started the 5th war on a neigbour. More than 50 %  of the Republicans (!!!) under the age of 50 have an unfavorable view of Israel, they are sick and tired of those never ending wars that are not in the interest of US. Their demand, "drop Israel". They say that if the war addicted Netanyahu wants to continue he should do so on his own, and have his unlimited "self defence". Netanjahu dreams of " reshaping the Orient" and " regime change in Iran." Doesn't he know that many Israelians wish the later for his country as well? Nonetheless, the German chancellor, Merz, says "Israel does for us the dirty work in Iran". Strange thought, violation of international law is in the interest of Germany? If you don't like a government somewhere..... What effect does it have on the environment when atomic facilities are destroyed, oil and gas fields are set on fire, rockets are constantly fired? The other day Netanyahu adviced that Hamas members are Nazis. Does that mean they are actually Germans? (did Herr Merz intend to express that these Nazis are a threat for Germany?). The Israelian press speaker talked about press freedom and said that it is expressive in Israel, like in no other country in the world. Asked why then are there no journalists allowed in Gaza, replied that this serves their protection, as Hamas would kill them already for one word against Hamas. The reply came clear and straightforward : "Two hundred journalist have been killed in Gaza, none by Hamas!"   Herr Merz  demanded Iran must immediately end attacks on civilian facilities. Are starving families in Gaza, walking for miles, as demanded by the occupier, trying to obtain a bit of food from one of the four food distribution centres, run by the murky Israelian/Amercian aid organization (GHF) , actually a military facility and justify shooting, presumably in "self-defence"?  In Germany a Syrian orthopedic, living and working there meanwhile for 10 years, has recently been sentenced for life imprisonment, followed by life - long safety arrest on account of his special cruelity  - committed as one of Assad's torturers. He was recognized by country men. Sometimes the justice wheels grind slowly. The great dealer, Donald Trump, demands that Iran should surrender unconditionally, like the Nazis when their  "3rd Reich" ended? In addition Mr Trump informs that "We know where Chamenei is hidding, but we won't kill him yet." There is a caravan in Egypt constisting of folks from 60 countries, planning to reach Rafah in support of Palestinians. Egyptian authorities stopped them, some even got beaten up and arrested. Not what the great population of Egypt wants to see. It appears that different lives have different values,  peoples of various effected and/or feeling concerned countries are often more advanced than those in power (you don't bite the hand that feeds you.....). If we want a better world, where all can enjoy equal human rights, it is necessary to put pressure on shameless governments and force them to see that they can't continue, they must stop sending arms and money to Israel, stop the special treatment and their talking like a broken record of "self-defence", reactivate international human rights. By the way, the Gaza war so far costs Israel 85 billion dollars, money well spend? Is it good for their economy, did it make the world a safer place for citizens with a Jewish religion? Why does Netanyahu close numerous Embassies and restrict diplomats' movements? There are great folks all over the world, who happen to have a Jewish religion (after all it is a religion, not a race), who don't agree with Netanyahu 's aggresive politics and wars, they don't deserve to be hated, let us not forget this. Netanyahu questened what prize Israel has to pay for the war, replied that every family pays a prize, including his own, they had to postphone his son's wedding, his wife is a hero....... such a comment speaks for itself, it shocked many. - The Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights sharply critized Germany in a letter to the Minister of Forein Affairs (CSU), for restricting the freedom of expression and peaceful assemly in Germany. In his letter Mr. Michael O'Flaherty reminded Germany of European's commitment to human rights and dignity and stated that there are reports of excessive use of force by police against protesters, including children, (for GAZA) restrictions on events, symbols, use of Arabic, etc. "Be vigilant that the working definition of antisemism of the International Holocaust Remembance Alliance is not distorted, instrumentated or misapplied to stiffle freedom of expression and legitimate. critism, including the state of Israel."      Read the letter - COMM HR (2025)35                                        Thank you very much, Mr. O'Flaherty, Council of Europe's Commissioner for Human Rights, such a letter was overdue. German politicians' arrogant and insensitive actions, lack of empathy for the suffering of Palestinians has become difficult to bear. Folks are asking, what is happening in Germany, France, UK, etc? Have they forgotten the lessons they should have learned from history, following the Nürnberg trials ? Thank heavens for
South Africa, Namibia, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, etc. they understand that human rights must never be selective, war crimes must never be excused. There is clear definition of "Right to self-defence", it is not a "joker card" to grant immunity, it is a right that belongs to the occupied, not the occupier. Food distribution points for starving citizens must not be misused as a death trap, desire to avoid starvation is not a capital crime - so far approx. 250 Palestinians paid with their life for that. "Warning shoots in the air" , how can they be deadly?
