My husband is amazed that more and more European football players are resembling Africans, I " advised" him that this is due to the climate change and after all mankind's craddle stood in Africa. In addition, as we are getting older, the majority of humans either end up with grey hair or more or less boldness, interesting, old age reduces the differences between peoples. Besides, not even all cats are the same,  they are individuals, great, characters with various sleeping habits. Lovely Kaja likes to sleep in a bag hanging on the wall, brave, blind boy, Loulou, prefers a cardboard box, gorgeous Nicola, Riccardo, Janina, Jerimy and Madona choose a table on the terrace (plus a warm blanket) or sometimes also a cardboard box, cuddling together, great Alien, Ali, Jane, Chiquitta, Carlo and cute teen Lizzy want to sleep on the roof on plastic armchairs, of course with warm blankets, gentle Fleur in a wooden pet house, Johnny insists on sleeping in the kitchen, Sunnyboy prefers the sitting room, teen Antonia the bedroom with her "foster dad" whom she adors. . A neighbor confirmed that sweet Daisy's sudden death recently was caused by a fast driven car. She was one of those cats that always observe the traffic and nonetheless got hit and killed by irresponsible speeding drivers (I myself got nearly hit on my pavement by a car with a careless female driver). Had I viewed the killing of Daisy, I wouldn't have hasitated to report it to the police. Tired of speeding dangerous cars around my house. According to Tunisian's much appreciated, new animal protection law, chapter 94, "Anyone who causes death of a pet, unintentionally or through negligence," will be fined 100 - 1,000 Dinar or receive a prison sentence. - The great dealer, Donald Trump, declared (in other words) that he doesn't want to see more foreign folks like himself in US that is: old, overweight, eating mainly unhealthy junk food, supporting dependent family members. Such folks are an unnecessary burden for the US, so he says. Sounds like fake news? A lot of Donald Trump's wisdom does, doesn't it? Often contradicting himself, or changing his mind. As the late Bavarian Franz-Joseph Strauss put it: "What do I care for the rubbish I talked  yesterday?" Anyway, the self-selected (in vain) Nobel Peace Prize asperant, threatens Venezuela and Mexico with war and continues to attack and destroy alleged drug carrying boats in international waters, meanwhile at least 30 boats, killing any persons on board, presently more than 80. US military shot survivors in the Caribbean sea (NTV- news). Reminds me of the ex-president of the Philippines, Duterte, (at long last arrested) who declared those randomly shot (while maybe just outside to do a bit of shopping) as drug dealers. Strange, Mr. Trump seems to regard such actions as an effective idea to fight drug consumption in US. While several law makers adviced US government employees to refuse illegal orders, e. g. National Guard employed against peaceful demonstrators in US towns, military attacking boats in international waters of the Caribbean sea, the president declared that he would regard such a refusal of his orders as traitorous and demand capital punishment. Joe Bidden said that Donald Trump  destroys Democracy with a wrecking ball. Donald Trump demands an investigation of the refugees's status granted by Joe Biden. New values and nothing to rely on. Mr. Trump's peace plan for Ukraine (without participation of the Ukraine), several called it Putin's wishes list, included Ukraine giving up about 20 % of its territory, even an area that Putin never conquered. Imagine waking up one day and your home belongs to another nation with a different political system, a new ruler. Mr. Trump didn't understand and critized that the Ukrainian leadership wasn't grateful for his plan, still, he has meanwhile changed his peace plan and the Ukrainian leadership is supposed to have agreed with several points yet to be discussed and cleared. - During the last 44 days Israel violated the truth agreement at least 500 times. More than 300 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the ceasefire last month. Where is the international outcry? "All are equal but some are more equal than others" (George Orwell). UN says that Israeli soldiers have opened fire at 3 positions held by UN peacekeepers in South Libanon. Don't they know international laws ? Big brother is protecting them.... Some heads of state regard it a crime to condemn or protest against cruelty,  war crimes, committed against Palestinians. Apart from e. g. Germany, sadly even the new British labour government intends to restrict pro-Palestinian protests. Is this the country of the famous  Hyde Park, Speakers' Corner? Well, 80 legal scholars and practioners signed an open letter to their government urging it to withdraw the bill. Isn't free speech one of the characteristics of democracy? It sounds incredible, Gaza has the highest rate of literarcy in the world, despite all obstacles, unbelievable education restrictions, plus intentional bombardments of numerous schools etc. during all those years of Israeli occupation, not to forget all that suffering, mentally and physically, lack of security, food, water, medication, shelter. How do you teach without the basics, a clean, secure environment, school books and materials? Palestinians must be a highly motivated people to survive with dignity and grace. May their sufferings end soon and they receive all the support and recognition they need. Sadly kids in other countries, in particular those with ignorant parents, don't always appreciate what chances they may have. Can learning be wasted? Israel is withholding 4 Bn Dollars in tax revenues, they have killed at least 69,713 Palestinians and wounded 170,863, about 350 children are currenglh held in Israelian prisons, more than 90 in so-called "administrative detention", which means for an unlimited period, without information what the accusations are, without court, no information whatsoever for the family. All of this in "self-defence"? Lord have mercy.

Such an original. Sadly our senior, 13 years old Tiger, disappeared 4 days ago. We searched for him everywhere, so far in vain. He hasn't got many teeth left, dark fur, white bib and paws, a chronic cold and a floppy ear, not ideal to survive on the street, in particular as the cats in the neighborhood don't know him and may feel tempted to therefore chase him away. He was born in our house and always stayed with us, a family member! We hope and pray he will find his way back home. Lovely, gentle teenager cat, Daily, has passed away. Must have been hit by a car or stone, the afternoon before she went with us for a walk, fit like a fiddle, depressing. Tunisians appear to dream of skyscrapers, a car or at least a pretty loud motorcycle, a must for youngsters who love racing (also in a residential area, many cats pay the toll with their life, more than a thousand people have already died this year in a road accident, speed restriction in residential areas, e. g. 30 km like in Europe, would be great), don't mind black stinking exhaust clouds from cheap petrol/diesel, seal (too much) ground with concrete, love to let their engines run idle, yet complain about too high prices, sadly all too often lack important environmental awareness . Bananas disappeared from shelvings, ever since the government restricted the price to 7 Dinar per kg. Strange, even in Carrefour where these were sold for quite some time at exactly that price, while elsewhere up to 15 Dinar was charged. In Germany that imports Bananas from the same South American countries as Tunisia, they are still available, even at a lower price. - What is important in life? Depends on where you stand, perhaps education, and possibly on your family values and background. The White House was built 123 years ago. Donald Trump had the East wing knocked down in order to make a bit of space for his 8,000 square meters ballroom (special opportunity for only 300 Million Dollars, all donations, so he says, good to have very rich friends), double the size of the White House. During the shutdown 1 million state employees aren't paid in US. And how many lost their job because the state "must cut expenses"? State courts ruled that the government can not stop the food aid for 43 million US citizens on account of the shutdown. The US immigration authorities, ICE, continues to arrest and deport on a big scale those who are, or perhaps just look like more or less unwanted foreigners, immigrants, (though actually all Americans were once immigrants or have such family roots, including the president and his wife).  Mr. Trump, who is still dreaming of the Nobel Peace Price, would like to see even more deportations and wants to welcome white South Africans, as "asylum seekers" .  A recent victim's  deportation from California, Sami Hamdi, a British-Tunisian commentator, was stopped by a federal court. He was on a tour, invited by the Council of American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to speak about Palestine. Like Germany US wants to suspress critics of Israel (the truth coming into the light), so they revoked his visa 2 days before his arrest. The authorities didn't bother to inform Sami Hamdi accordingly. CAIR condemned the detention a "blatant affront to free speech". What kind of US does the president intend to create? Perhaps all immigrants, plus those with such roots should be deported from US and the country left to the First Nation. Make America great again....... - In a documentary of 1933 Hitler makes a speech and reads out a letter from president Roosevelt demanding that Hitler won't attack the following states..... (lists all European states plus Palestine). Gaza is burried under 61 million tons of rubble according to UNRWA. Israel complains that hostage corpses are being returned too slow by Hamas, even though they lack the necessary machinery. Turkey offered to help with appropriate expert equipment. Israel refused to grant access, now Italy is helping. Further, in some cases the wrong bodies or body parts are handed over, is Hamas in a position to carry out DNA tests, do they have forensic experts on site? Israel accuses Hamas of making mistakes on purpose, " a breach of the truth contract". Yet Israelian attacks killed 236 Palestinians and wounded 600 since that contract was signed, violated the truth at least 80 times. 15 dead Palestinians are returned by Israel for every deceased Israelian. Several of the dead Palestinians were handcuffed, blindfolded, show signs of physical abuse, executions, had missing limbs or teeth, were burned, men 25 - 70 years old. No attempts to cover up the abuses, being used to act without impunity, who should hold them accountable? More than 10,000 bodies of Palestinians remain buried under heaps of debris, are they worthless, aren't they missed and loved by their families? Aren't Moslems too entitled to a respectful funeral and grave? When the German chancellor, Merz, visited Erdogan, he tried to explain his understanding of Israelian self-defence (been listening too long to his own rhetoric) while Erdogan spoke of genocide. Since the war on Gaza began in October 2023 the situation in Israeli prisons has deteriorated dramatically. The top Israelian army lawyer, Major-General Yifat Tomer Yedrushalmine, leaked to the press a video that shows Palestinian prisoners being beaten and raped by Israelian soldiers. Far- right politians protested against the arrest of 9 guilty soldiers and stormed the prison, managed to free 4. Settlers attacked Bedouin farmers and other Palestinians more than 1000 times during the first 8 months of 2025, they are no longer stopped but rather protected, or even joint by Israelian forces. When Netanyahu threatened to kill all Hamas members and claimed he can do this with the support of some unsuspected Palestians, he spoke the truth (though of course killing all Hamas members won't be possible) . There are criminal gangs /clans among Palestinians, assisted by Israel with weapons and money, as well as arranged loitering of aid carrying vans (forced changed routes to facilitate ambushes) intended for starving Palestians. These gangsters hate Hamas who fights against them. When the British colonized India they concluded that "divide and rule" would be the easiest way for them to dictate and rule this big continent. Divide the enemies' strength by making them suspicious or forcing them to employ their forces in different places. Later on other dictators /governments also learned from history this dirty trick. But several discovered at a later stage that they actually "opened the tin of Pandora" e. g. the Taliban were once trained and provided with weapons by an US government. 29 % of the Palestinian population has been arrested  or detained by Israel over the decades, also children. Following the killing of the Hind Rajab family, including their 5 year old child (who tried in vain to get help, which was recorded, and shocked the world),

 and the rescue team, Israel claimed there was an exchange of fire by Israelian troops and Palestinian fighters. Actually 335 bullet holes were counted in the family car. Yet the multidisciplinary research group of Forensic Architecture (based at London University) found proof of only several Israelian employed Merkava tanks in the vicinity of the Rajab family car, no evidence of any exchange of fire! The Nuernberg Trails gave hope that war crimes will in furture not remain unpunished. The establishment of the Intern. Criminal Court in Den Haag was one lesson learned from history. Dictators of course try to prevent its impact and success.
