Back from the Dark Age?

Edgar Morin.  "Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can't, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it."  Robert Frost.  Even cats can be jealous, whenever sweet Nikola cuddles with me, pretty Suny-Boy comes running and wants to cuddle as well, the same applies to gorgeous long haired Allan and handsome Jeremy (both black and white, though lately Jeremy's half body changed colour to a warm chocolate brown). Sadly some folks started again to drag baby cats, even less than 10 days old, from the loving paws of their mother, and place them in a cardboard box outside on the street, ignoring that this is forbidden now. I spoke to boys from the neighborhood, who didn't understand the cruelity of such action (haram!) and asked them whether they would also put new born babies out on the street in a cardboard box.....? Without the mother their chances are practically zero and it is also brutal for the cat mother. Though it is probably in vain, I try to save 2 innocent babies (a 3rd one  died), placed by someone from the neighborhood near my house. Them screaming for their mother, poor handicapped Johnny (car accident, broken bones, big non-malicious cancer growth, looking like a mudder, partly operated, allergy) comes running, wanting to help, such a great darling. Yes, animals know empathy and I would never compare bad persons to animals. However, some Israelian politicians and so-called "settlers" call Palestinians 'dogs' and say they are not humans. Reminds me of Nazi propaganda (concerning Jewish people). By the way, settlers are normally persons welcomed, willing to integrate and live on land they either bought or leased. Israelian settlers are Israelian citizens living illegally on Palestinian land, more than 700,000 do, 10% of the Israelian population live in 150 illegal settlements and 128 outposts, spread across the occupied Westbank and East Jerusalem. They receive from their government 5,6 million Dollars each year for their activities and reports monitoring Palestinians . A documentary on Israeli shooting Palestinian children in Gaza won the Emma award. On 22nd of June Ireland celebrated the Irish strike against Apartheid in 1980. Today Irish citizens say we must isolate and boycott the planned Irish-Israel football match for moral and legal reasons. They urge sanctions against Israel because they have targeted Palestinian sports for decades and destroyed their facilities. The Fifa world football cup is big business like never before. Tunisia was informed they would have to pay 100 million Dinars to be granted the right to show their games on national TV. Daylight robbery! I am proud to say Tunisia believes such an amount should better be spent on more important issues, surely not an easy decision since Tunsians are crazy about football. We could do with more football fields for kids, would provide them with better experience than just playing on the roads. Somalian Omar Abdulkadar Atan, Africa's top referee, winner of the Confederation African Football award, was refused entery to US at the airport, even  though tasked to perform as referee at the world football cup (not for the 1. time) . "He spoke to the wrong persons and is therefore considered a safety risk."  Rather than considering him a potential terrorist, Africa regards this an insult! It has come to this. We live in a world of double standards, the innocent are guilty and the guilty (with plenty of evidence for this) are innocent. Fifa president, Infantino, shame on him, didn't care to object and declare that such a decision isn't acceptable. On the contrary, he donated his suddenly self- invented "Fifa peace prize" to Donald Trump. Being madly in love with himself, the president was very pleased, nothing like folks "without a backbone", flattering when sharp critic would be more applicable. The greatest president that ever breathed, Donald Trump, declared he doesn't care about war crimes. Nor does Netanyahu and his extreme right wing  government. UN report says that Israel deliberately targeted and killed Palestinian children (self-defence?) on a big scale, there is a genocide against Palestinians taking place and war crimes are committed by the Israelian army. Meanwhile more than 73,018 Palestinians have been killed. The American president says:  "I am disappointed with Israel, they can't do anything without demolishing buildings."  Well, it is not just that...... Having been repeatedly ordered by Trump to stop attacking Libanon, not to violate the cease-fire agreement, Netanyahu chooses to ignore Big Brother's instruction. Tail wagging dog? Israelians says it is not their war, but Netanyahu's for his own interests. By the way, Libanon was always under threat by Israel, long before Hezbollah even existed. Buffer zone, the new word for land grab. The American ambassador for Israel advised Israel being "a small state" must have the right to take parts of neigboring countries, as far as he is concerned as much as they like..... (A Palestinian state ("if such a population exists" ) could be established in Jordan or another muslim country, he says) Interesting philosophy, should this be made into new international law? Should we re-write the world maps? Those with the atomic bomb (why is it okay for Israel?) would have an advantage....... Thank God not many countries are interested but prefer to live in peace with their neighbors. Countries that allow their forces, police or other organizations to commit atrocities with impunity, are destroying the soul of their country. Martinique born Frantz Fanon illustrated this well in his famous book "The Wretched of the Earth" (1961). Once its wars are ended, Israel may well pay a heavy price, and I am not just thinking of the compensations it should pay for war crimes, crimes against humanity and all the damage it did. The International Criminal Court (ICC) in Den Haag has 125 members. The director of Mossad (secret service of the ever so small state of Israel) phoned the chief prosecutor of ICC in order to demand: Stop the investigation on Gaza. Otherwise he threatened: there will be US sanctions (greetings from the Big Brother) against ICC members and their families. In a documentary an ICC procecutor informed that US sanctions even affected her son in Gambia, her husband was investigated, 2 men entered her house, took photos. Their message: We know where you live! Accustomed to getting away with murder, Israel with Donald Trump's support, even dared to demand the deportation and arrest of the ICC prosecutor. Africa is part of the court and the Dutch government needs to do much more to protect the members of the court! Meanwhile three judges from the ICC are suing the American president for the sanctions imposed on them. - More and more companies decide to employ AI (artificial intelligence) to replace human labour, at various levels. Where will it all end? Henry Ford recognized many years ago that cars won't buy cars. But even worse AI used by military means killing becomes easier, no empathy, it's anonyme, like a computer game, or even robots acting independently. The new big peace deal concerning US, Iran, Lebanon, Gaza and Israel, will it last? Mr. Trump is proud of it, but it is not what Netanyahu and his far right ministers wanted. They wanted to continue on their path of destruction. The costs of 3 wars amounted to approx. 205 Billion Dollars for Israel. It did a lot of damage to the Israelian economy, 50,000 businesses closed since 2023, taxes and living costs are rising. Many professionals left the country. Jewish people all over the world have lost a lot of security and are often blamed for atrocities they are not responsible for, they may even condemn . Netanyahu 's administration did a lot of harm even to Jewish folks. At present only Trump can stop him or the next election. Time to wake up. The climate change is there, too high temperatures are obvious and harmful for humans, animals and nature. Should we continue with stupid, totally unnecessary wars? Lord have mercy.
