Use and Abuse of Power.

u

"In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories (2 Peter 2:3,3). Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping." (Bible verses).  "My homeland is not a suitcase, I am not a travellor." Mahmoud Darvish.  "There are some people that we didn't forget, but we don't smile anymore when they are mentioned."  Nizar Quabbani.  "A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful excutive of political bosses and their  army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced, because they love their servitude." Aldous Huxley.   "In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act."  1984 : - "War is peace. - Freedom is slavery.  - Ignorance is strength."  Animal Farm: The creature looked from pig to man and from man to pig, and from pig to man again, but it was impossible to say which is which. " George Orwell.                                                                                                  The new generation of pupils/students, well quite a few of them, are loud, full of energy, kind of aggressive, lack respect, not much difference between boys and girls. Therefore the Tunisian authorities decided to act. From 01st October 2026 students are banned from leaving school during breaks and free periods. I no longer see all those youngsters hanging around in front of the local school, yelling, running, throwing stones "just for fun", instead it's nice and quite here. This is part of the nation's program to strengthen school safety and protecting students from various risks and harmful behaviour caused by drugs addiction and violence. The aforementioned program includes meaningful activities, in the field of education, culture, workshops in areas such as theatre, cinema, etc. Brilliant, offering meaningful activities would also be a good idea for those long summer holidays. These kids, in particular those from uneducated families, usually don't know what to do with themselves and the streets are not a good teacher. The "Pisa study", to value the ability of kids to read, write, calculate, showed that that it is on the decline, except in Japan and UK. In several countries experts suggest to start, playfully, education of 4 year olds in the nurseries /Kindergartens. It may happen in Europe, not a bad idea for other countries as well. In the past I taught English to some children of this age. They enjoyed it and so did I. Didn't require much of pronouncing exercises, at that ages it comes naturally and they are keen to learn something new. - Luckily we don't see these violant students ( even children, teachers, and others) demonstrations here that spread from France to other European countries: Albania, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece. They set fire to the historic town hall in Paris and to many cars, damaged bicycles,  vandalized and looted small and big shops. The owners must be asking why, after all they are not responsible for the grievances. Many, including politicians, blame left wing parties and folks. Since various countries are presently close to holding elections, the violant demonstrations are a gift for the right wing, and radical right wing parties. Will this mean fascist or near fascist countries in several European countries in the near future? Lord have mercy, Le Pen, Forage, AFD, Bolsenaro (father in prison, son wants to continue & now tries to get Lula disqualified for the election) and the like, are ready to take over. Donald Trump and Marco Rubio  would be happy to see this, also the type of government they want in their "back yard", South, Middle America and of course Cuba. A different path is also possible, after many years the population in Hungary. (after 16 years) and Poland managed to terminate their dictators' government. Now that Israel is also close to election, day of reckoning, Big Brother, Trump (the greatest president of all times, in his own view), declared his absolute support for Mr. Netanyahu : "A warrior prime minister and partner for peace. The kind of partner US wants for Israel." Should one vote for the individual that the US president selects, his brother-in-spirit ? Does he know best what foreign countries need? An election compaign of the radical, shameless, seemingly education lacking, Israelian security minister, Ben Givri, got interrupted and disturbed by Israeli demonstrators. Lately 82,000 Israelians left Israel. 61% of them are said not to be in favour of Netanyahu. They can not vote from abroad in an Israelian embassy, but need to travel to Israel to do so. There exists a help organisation to facilitate this procedure. Not at all what Netanyahu wants and he therefore tries to stop their activities. A chance to weaken Netanyahu may also be the United Arab list and Joint List, if they get enough votes. Young Isralians, though, voting for the first time, have been subjected to sensorship, manipulation of the media, practically all their life. They tend to support right/extreme right wing ideas, have no sympathy for Palestinians, in particular after the massacre on October 2023. Blind hatred and revenge doesn't care whether the victum is innocent. An estimated 61 % young voters are said to feel Israel has a right to drive Palestinians out off their country, or even kill them. B. Smotrich and Ben-Gvrir want forced evacuation of all Palestinians from Gaza. Multiple countries imposed travel bans and sanction on the aforementioned extremists. Does Israel have a democracy ? Yes, but a weak one, several courts' decisions make one wonder. Let us hope and pray that a positive change will come and these endless and senseless wars will stop. Trump and Netanyahu may be dreaming of completely destroying Iran, we receive mixed messages from the US. One may not like the government in Iran, but is that a reason to "erase" a country, destroy the great historic heritage of mankind? The US has nothing of the kind to offer....., some say they therefore lack appreciation of historic heritage, even though many have European roots? Mr. Tom Barrack, US Embassador to Turkey and US Special Envoy, stated " the US had a hand in 23 regime changes and none of them worked. The consequences of regime changes have gone wrong. " Asked about military action in Iran, "The whole thing is terrifying." Iran has a population of 90 Million, if we have a regime change, we'll have millions of new immigrants. Since World War 2  America received oil and gas in exchange for security from US. Owning the resources doesn't work, the future of alliances matters. (Interview on TRT World). Trump declared that he would like Zelensky to step down, a different president would be better for Ukraine, guess one that obeys his instructions. With Donald Trump as a friend you don't need an enemy. He would be happy to negotiate ending the war without the participation of the Ukrainian president, must be easier to reach a deal just with Mr. Putin. Some say one day Trump will negotiate only with himself...... When the highly estimed, Mrs. Nevanethum Pillay, retired high judge of the ICC, received the Noble Peace Price, for her life-long engagement for human rights and justice, Mr. Trump and Mr. Netanyahu were fuming. Trump imposed additional sanctions against the ICC. Interesting, a country that isn't even a member, feels fit to impose sanctions. ICC stated that sanctions are an attack on the rule of law. Netanyahu advised: Goebels will applaud from hell to this peace price. Strange, one would rather suspect that Goebels, with his well recorded speaches and his diary was a kind of "tutor" for Bibby Netanyahu ("Lebensraum", collective punishment, encourage victums to emigration, de-humanizing "the enemy", starvation, issuing senseless instructions to demonstrate there is no rule to save you, giving something negative a positve meaning, denial of genocide happening, etc). Trump pledges to spend 400 million Dollars to back Republican candidates, hopefully not taxpayers' money. Polls show that less and less US citizens are happy with their president's performance. By the way, both Trump and Netanyahu say they will after the election continue bombing Iran on a big scale. Is this what our civilized world needs, aren't there other, big problems to tackle? Like the rapid destruction of the environment, " sowing at the tree branch on which you are sitting", Germans call it.
